Default [RELEASE] Game Categories v11

Game Categories v11

Changes in v11 - This update can be downloaded using Game Categories Network Update aswell in case you already have v10 or higher.

- Fixed a bug introduced in v10 that caused a lot of homebrew to malfunction.

Changes in v10

- Added option under 'Network Update' to update Game Categories.
- Hiding Uncategorized now works for Content Browser mode aswell.
- Fixed incompatibility with various plugins with Content Browser mode.
- Photo Player loaded if you listened to Music before going to Content Browser, fixed.
- Added option to System Settings to show/hide uncategorized (text file no longer works).
- Built-in Game Categories of GEN will be automatically disabled now.
- Optimized to reduce plugin size.

Bug reporting

Bug reporting should happen in this thread and nowhere else, this plugin has been tested by me and many betatesters, yet there are still bugs which only happen on specific PSP's, and I really need details to figure them out. Include your firmware version, PSP model, other enabled plugins, any extraordinary files, and as much details as you can give on reproducing it.

First of all *big* thanx for this plugin.

Using Bookr v8.1 (don't recall if I can cross-post to another forum) I realized that suddenly I lost all my settings (these are stored as two files in the same directory where Bookr resides). Playing around here are my observations:
- if I move the folder of Bookr up directly into the PSP/GAME folder the Bookr settings work
- if I select the Content Browser mode the settings work

So something is prohibiting access (R or both R/W) to the bookreader's configuration files in the Multiple MS and Context Menu modes.

My PSP 3000:
5.03 GEN-B
ms0:/PSP/GAME/CAT_APPS/BookReader/...
no other plugin

neato, another version I'm guessing it still only works in Gen? I switched to it a while back just to use the new context browser feature.

I did modify the patches in attempt to fix issues related to it, but I did not actually test it.

Found a few of my homebrew doesn't work

Include your firmware version, PSP model, other enabled plugins, any extraordinary files, and as much details as you can give on reproducing it.
PSP:
Model 2001 running 5.50 GEN-D2

VSH Plugins (from top to bottom in txt):
CXMB, Hold, Contents Hider, Dayviewer, USB Version Fake, Audioboost, SimplySaver, Game Categories, Ultimate VSH Revised, Sysconf_Spoofer, RCO Patcher, CFExtender, iRShell Autoboot

Game Plugins (from top to bottom in txt):
Audioboost, CoderPR, PSPStates, CFExtender

VSH Menu Configuration:
Everything set to default, NP9660 Driver

Problematic Hombrew:
NANDManager, PSN License Manager, PSPToolkit, PRXDecrypter 2.3, PSARDumper 6.00, NPDecrypter

Issue:
- Each one displays an error saying that it can't load certain modules and exits back to the XMB with no error codes.
- PSPToolkit & PSN License Manager doesn't freeze but it just screens to black and the only way to exit those is to shutdown the PSP.

Screenshots
NANDManager:

PRXDecrypter:

PSARDumper:

NPDecrypter:

Note:
- I currently have them in a category folder labeled "CAT_Decryption Tookits" & "CAT_Maintenance Tools". When I move them into the root of "GAME", each one works fine.
- I've disabled all plugins except game_categories to isolate the problem. Moving the entry to the top give the same results.
- For now, I can launch into iRShell and run them through there instead of moving them from the category folder.

If you need a copy of each homebrew that isn't working, i'll be more than willing to send them your way. Hopefully this is enough info that you're looking for
